As a tax specialist at EY Tax, you can work for a period at one of our Dutch Desks abroad. These desks support Dutch companies that are active internationally and are an important link between local and Dutch teams. You can opt for a short-term experience. It takes four to six months or you go for a long-term experience. It lasts longer than two years. You will coordinate the exact implementation together so that this experience fits both your development and your personal life.

Why work
at a Dutch Desk?
Local knowledge for global impact
For many colleagues, spending time at a Dutch Desk is a logical and valuable step after the first years at EY. You'll learn how international tax issues are tackled in practice and work directly with customers and colleagues around the world. Most “Deskers” choose the United States because a large number of our Dutch customers are active there, but other locations also offer plenty of opportunities. How fun is that!

Berend Pijnenburg
Senior Consultant
“During my secondment at the Dutch Desk in San Francisco, I really stepped out of my comfort zone. You work in a smaller team than I was used to, while I was completely on my own in my spare time. That was a good professional and personal lesson for me.”
Experience
for life
An experience you'll never forget and enjoy every day. After returning to the Netherlands:
Have you had a really cool international work experience?
Cross-border tax law applied in practice
A strong international network built
Bring your experience that you enjoy every day. Many colleagues proudly look back on this period as one of the highlights of their career at EY.
