EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2026 Netherlands

Challenge yourself with current tax issues in an international context

Are you curious to see how far your tax knowledge goes? EY invites you to the Dutch final of the Young Tax Professional of the Year 2026. During this day, you will not only test your professional knowledge, but also work on your presentation skills and learn from others who, like you, are ready for the next step in their career.

You will work on a current case study, receive training from experienced professionals and present your vision to a panel of experts. In addition, this day offers plenty of opportunities to expand your network with other young tax professionals and colleagues from EY.

The winner of the Dutch final will represent the Netherlands at the international YTPY final in 2027, together with talent from more than 40 other countries.

Who is it for?

This competition is aimed at students in the final stages of their tax studies (higher professional education or university), recent graduates, and tax professionals with up to 16 months of work experience. We are looking for analytical thinkers and curious minds who enjoy testing their knowledge and challenging themselves.

International final

The winner of the Dutch edition will travel in March or April 2027 to the global finalDuring this multi-day event, you will meet participants from dozens of countries and engage in discussions with EY Tax leaders from all over the world. Travel, accommodation and meals are fully provided.

You can register up to and including Monday 19 October. You will hear whether you have been selected by 20 October at the latest. Once confirmed, you will receive all the practical information regarding the programme.
